In recent years the Societe Franco-Britannique de Cardiff has organised trips to France, usually in May or June. These seven-day trips, by luxury coach and hotels, attract about 25-30 participants each year. They have taken us to many different regions of France, as the following pictures show.

1997 – The Loire Valley
Stays at Rouen, Tours and Compiègne, with visits to Chartres, Villandry and Chateau d’Anet.






 

1998 – Paris
Paris in the rain, with a visit to Monet’s gardens at Giverny









1999 – Britanny and Normandy
Dinan, La Rance, and Mont-Saint-Michel











2000 – Picardy
Douai, Amiens, Arras and the Somme.











2001 – Alsace
Nancy, Colmar, Eguisheim, Reims










2002 – L'Ile de France
Paris, Chantilly, Vaux-le-Vicomte











2003 – Champagne
Reims, Châlons-en-Champagne, Epernay, Troyes and Provins










2004 – The Loire Valley
Saumur, Chinon, Fontevraud, Ussé, Azay-le-Rideau











2006 – Burgundy
Dijon, Arras, Lille and Beaune
